Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Code Éclair (NEQ 2271379655), based in Québec, Canada, which operates I'm Watching This. By creating an account or using I'm Watching This you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. What I'm Watching This is
I'm Watching This is a tracker for TV shows and movies: a watchlist, episode-by-episode progress, ratings, and a calendar of what is coming. You choose what goes in it. It does not stream, host, or link to any video.
2. Where the catalogue comes from
Titles, images, overviews and air dates come from The Movie Database (TMDB), and the "where to watch" lists come from JustWatch through TMDB. That data belongs to its owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Errors in the catalogue are theirs to fix, and anyone can suggest a correction on TMDB.
3. Your account
You need a valid email address and must keep your password and recovery codes confidential. You're responsible for activity under your account, and you must be at least 16 years old to use I'm Watching This. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Price
- The service is free. There is nothing to pay and no credit card to enter.
- There are no ads, and we don't sell your data.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. For example, don't attempt to break, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the catalogue data, and don't use I'm Watching This for anything unlawful.
6. Your data
Your data is yours. You can export your whole library (JSON and CSV) from Settings, or delete your account, at any time. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process your data solely to run the service for you. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep I'm Watching This running smoothly, but it's provided "as is" and we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may occasionally take it down for maintenance, and features may change during the beta.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I'm Watching This and Code Éclair are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for anything you miss because of the app. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Ending your use
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; we'll update the date above, and continuing to use I'm Watching This means you accept the changes.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada.
